People may admire for your strength but they connect with you through your weaknesses.  AE is a clothing company in Kansas City that uses the power of fashion to help solve complex social issues.

This campaign is all about self-awareness. 

They believe that social reformation begins with the individuals and when it comes to being yourself, needing other people’s approval or loving someone else’s opinion, and mistaken it for your own is one of the most draining things you’ll do on the road to being yourself. When you figure out how to be yourself, It’s an incredibly liberating way to go through life and it starts with being self-aware.

This Design by Alkamba Express was inspired by Nelson-Atkins Museum’s artifacts.

Why this design?

“I’ve always felt a sense of adventure whenever I visit the Museum. The glass labyrinth takes me on a never ending journey and the giant shuttlecock is like a beacon guiding me to the exit and that feeling was the reason why I made this design. As a beacon of hope for the art in Kansas City” – Abraham.

Their goal is to empower children through their story that there’s light in the middle of the tornado and to seek help when we need it!
